Central Data's scsiTerminal Servers/ST-1800 and ST-1800+ provide high-performance serial expansion for SPARstation(TM) without consuming anySbus slots. By simply plugging into the system's SCSI port, the ST-1800and ST-1800+ permit the addition of terminals, modums, printers, or otherRS-232 devices. Multiple scsiTerminal Servers can be daisy chainedtogether for a variety of expansion options. ST-1800 features include 8high-performance asynchronous serial ports which support up to 115K baud;surge protection on all serial lines for increased reliability; five yearwarranty; local tty ports, which are much easier to configure thanethernet terminal servers; stackable cabinets; and easy installation andmaintenance. The ST-1800+ offers a parallel port in addition to all ofthe features of the ST-1800. Drivers are available for HP-UX, AIX, OSF/1and IRIX.
